The culmination of my work at Many Worlds Tavern: the monthly Realm Gazette.
Written with poetic flourish and concrete imagery the Realm Gazettes have two goals.
One: provide a setting, characters, quest hooks, and overall inspiration for game masters of any tabletop role-playing game.
Two: entertain fans of the genre who collect fantasy lore.

These were fully realized collaborations of my narrative direction and dozens of artists’s tremendous talents, released as a paid monthly subscription. We never used AI.

While most of this seems like narrative design, the mechanical meat was at the end of each Gazette, where characters of interest were followed up with designed items and abilities, all created with Daggerheart in mind (and with D&D-compatible versions also available to subscribers).

Knowing that there are far more fans of TTRPG fantasy settings than there are players, these were also written to be exciting and entertaining forays into fantasy worldbuilding for the community. Nearly a quarter of subscribers fell into this category of not playing tabletop role-playing games, but simply wanted to see what came next and enjoyed their time supporting and engaging with fantasy lore.
